CHAPTER FIVE

Human vs. Divine Technology

Prophets are God's messengers and since He does everything by His word, all things used by Him must be alive before or at the time of use. Since there is no death in Him, anything He chooses to use starts out alive, even if it is slaughtered to be sacrificed to Him. For God's use, creatures must be presented to Him alive before they are slaughtered to be of service to Him. Hence, alive to die is generally His standard requirement. Qualified humans engaged by the Almighty are those alive to God, vicariously slaughtered by Jesus Christ to become dead to the world. Upon completing their time in the zone of the dead, they are revived, resurrected, and renewed for His employment.

The Lord starts with living beings so it stands to reason that the His counterparts to our telephones, cell phones, satellites, and audio-video devices are embodied in His human vessels; specifically, prophetic ones. That puts the prophetic not behind the world of today but eternities ahead of it.

Before everything we celebrate today as modern technology ever existed, the Creator built into His creation every wonder laid claim to by human inventors. His vast communications network encompasses every aspect of His creaturehood and predates our nouveau marvels by eons. In fact, creation served as the model for all human technology boasted today. That is why to the Lord, human inventions appear primitive and crude no matter how highly they prize and pursue them. The only obvious difference between His creations and ours is that His equipments, lines, cables, and such are start out or remain invisible, spiritual, and pervasive throughout all the works of His hands. All that the Lord made and uses are life, life-filled, and life giving. He is the God of life and the living. His greatest dispensed commodity to a dead, dark world is His life and light. These were priceless to the world of Jesus' day, and they are why His sermons revolved around this theme. If Christ came to earth to minister in the same manner today, He would be less received or believed now than He was then because of technology.

The prophet Ezekiel stressed this one fact when he witnessed eternity's energy, light and motility in the living creations riding their wheel. The prophet makes it abundantly clear in his writings that the dead, dark world of his time was not all there is. He records how the Lord of glory, Israel's God, appears to Him on a living transportation vehicle called cherubim. They appear as self-propelled, all-seeing hybrid creatures with eyes showing up in every part of their being. Heaven's pattern holds true when one looks at the earthly creation. They are in order, do not break rank, and manifest a oneness that puts our sense of unity to shame. That Ezekiel witnessed this sight is phenomenal enough, but that he did so as a Babylonian captive whose consciousness was drenched with the so-called powers of thousands of other gods makes it amazing.
